Martha Glowacki - Intersection of Science and the 19th Century

We met Martha Glowacki when she visited our Natural History Exhibition in Milwaukee. Her work explores the human understanding of the natural world through two areas of inquiry: the history of science and scientific illustration. I was pleased to see her explore technology, photography and portraiture in the l9th Century at the Racine Art Museum. Her work, If Only We Had Met - Six Stories, creates  a mysterious interaction between humanity and technology.
